Firehouse Subs

I visited the bowmanville location about a week ago and the cashier Larissa was an outstanding person. Not only did she take the time to explain the menu but went the extra length to make sure my experience was amazing. The cookies were SOO amazing! I’ll definitely be back!!!

I generally love Firehouse and have been to many locations. They are not all the same like they should be. This one was excellent. Firehouse in Bowmanville, ON. Well made sub (I had the beef and cheddar brisket, as is) and plenty of meat and toppings (unlike some stingy other locations). The staff was friendly especially KEON who made a specific request to understand the pronouncing of my name when he called out my name on order. Overall great experience.

It's a great addition to Bowmanville. Now I don't have to drive into Oshawa for my Firehouse Subs fix!!

My first Firehouse Subs sandwich was only this past summer. I had been sleeping on it and that was a mistake. Ever since my first sandwich, the Hook and Ladder, I have been trying other sandwiches on the menu and have enjoyed them.

What I like most about a Firehouse sandwich is that it actually have flavour unlike the bland sub sandwich I would get from other sandeich food chains.

My only negative critique about the Bowmanville location is that one time the fountain pop vending machine was clearly not working properly. The dispenser was only dispensing the syrup and it did not taste good at all but the staff continued to well fountain pop even though they were well aware (the informed me it was "off")

I will return.

Subs are always delicious but the experience is what I’m writing about! First I always love the energy in the store, very friendly and kind. I went on a Saturday. always a little busy, so a bit of a wait but not bad at all, Staff handled it so well! The girl who gave me my food was so sweet, made me whole day . Makayla asked about my day and made it a point to recommend barbecue for my steak! Something I never tried but I definitely should have! So good and my new go to. And I saw later that she had wrote have a nice day on the box! It was such a nice pick me up in addition to the lovely food. 10/10 absolutely going back! Such a wonderful staff and food is alway yummy!

My bank account gives this location a 1 * review. Why is that? Because I now have a Firehouse Subs in walking distance from my home! Today is their opening day and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! My large Italian sub is amazing just like I knew it would be! If you have never experienced Firehouse Subs, do not go in expecting it to be like their competitors. Yes, you are going to pay a little more, but let me tell you, it is worth every penny! Congratulations on opening up this location and I'll be seeing you many, many, many more times. I need to go and console my savings account now.
