Dr Gindi was great . Knowledgeable. Funny and friendly . Did not wait long, only about 45 minutes including filling my forms and buying travel things.

He suggested over the counter medicine for my trip and precautions but never pressured me to buy stuff.

The shots were very quick and fast!

    Receptionist was friendly and nice!

I got a tablet pen and a luggage tag for my trip too!

I used this clinic because my other option, Passport Health, was featuring a TV-advertised med for travellers diarrhea on their website which is actually of little use for that condition. Dr. Gindi did not bring that up at all.

Dr. Gindi used the travel recommendations from the CDC as well as the UK equivalent and pointed out a difference in the malaria recommendation for our destination, giving me the option to choose. He made sure we have our shingles and tetanus shots up to date.

I like that he gives you scrips so that you can compare med costs at different places, rather than push you to use the on-site pharmacy.

He has a good stock of bug repellents etc. at reasonable prices to buy at reception if you want to get them.

Only negative it took an hour after our scheduled appt time to be seen altho we needed 10 mins of that for forms. Also, as with other clinics he charges the consulting fee for both me and my wife even though we will be travelling together.

For the informed traveller, a quick google search of the CDC or Health Canada websites provide all the necessary information for traveling. And you can print out your own list. The wait was over an hour. The clinic is a mess. Very disorganized looking. Dr. Gindi is very polite, but I don't understand why my own doctor couldn't have supplied me the medications I required. For $140 for two, we certainly didn't receive any special information.
