Zumiez

I don’t understand why people dislike this place. My visit to Zumiez wasn’t bad at all. I went to buy 3 things. A grip tape cleaner, skate wax, and a skate tool. Of course when I asked the person at the counter helped me out with the purchase, and the experience was very quick and smooth. Pretty good place, i will be going back here often, especially since it is the closes skate shop to my location. Good 5 stars from me to be honest.

Good selection of stuff, the staff are okay, but I still prefer "mom and pop" skateshops over Zumiez.

On Black Friday I went here to find some new skate shoes, because the people at vans were absolutely ignorant towards customers, and other stores had a small selection of skate shoes. The staff didn't approach me and help me with my purchase until I was approached late by a girl. The girl told me that shoes on a shelf were all 50% off. Good deals right? The Etines shoe that I selected was 70$ but turned out to be only 25% off, because the person who worked at the store had no idea what the sale prices were. The owner of the store just let me have them half off because of the mistake, so in the end I got a product I'm happy with at a good deal. I also needed some new, clean, griptape and the guy behind the counter told me to hit my dirty griptape with a wet sock. I did it and it kinda helped? Overall. I like going here.
