The Cottages at Port Stanton

Cottages are very nice. We were there on a winter day. I think that in the summer it would be really nice.

Excellent accommodation very clean have been going for the last five years for the Taylor Cup pond hockey tournament to benefit the Princess Margaret hospital.

The newer cottages were perfect for our week-long family trip. Very clean, spacious, and modern without losing the cottage comfort feel. There was a fully equipped kitchen, and linens and towels were all provided as well, making the stay as hassle free as possible. The drive up and back (even in the winter) from Toronto was not bad at all. The staff was very kind and helpful. They were flexible with check-in and provided a list of activities to do in the area. Great hiking trails! The shared amenities like rec room and pool were outdated but still served their function well :)

Being a first time stay at a time-shared cottage, I wasn't sure what to expect. Man were we surprised with the size of the cottage, the furnishings and all that was there. There were book and games, plenty of towels, friendly staff at the resort and lots to do. The Sunset Lounge outdoor hot tub was a nice treat for my wife and I after the kids were down. We visited in March and can only imagine how busy the place is in the summer.

The cottages have all the amenities of home plus great views. Very quiet and peaceful. Free equipment rentals for ski's, skates and tobogganing. Great staff and lots of family activities.
