I came here on quite a cold day, the first cold day of 2019 (or so I was told). We walked around a bit to enjoy the view, and it actually wasn't too cold. The sky was gray which reflected into the water, but the sand along the beach was nice. The mini lighthouse was cute too, and I could see boats in the marina. I was told this spot is really popping in summer, and I can see why. It's quiet, peaceful, and next to the water. If you have some time, I would definitely recommend coming to chill and hang out here, maybe walk around too!

Beautiful for a walk on the trails. Very popular in the summer and parking is limited. Downside on the beach is you can see the Pickering nuclear station in the distance.

This place is a perfect getaway that's right in city. I love coming to the bluffs every season! Its beautiful at anytime of the day you choose to come. I would highly recommend checking it out if you like to to sit near the water! Remember to bring bug spray!

The beach is very wide and the water is shallow but gets fairly deep. There's a sharp gradient from where the water is shallow to where it changes to deep so watch out for that.

The beach itself is very clean as well as the water. There's a nice cliff behind the beach that kind of sections off the beach area, making it sort of a cozy escape from the city life. I definitely prefer the Bluffs over Woodbine Beach

There is a lot of hiking area around and the beach requires you to walk/drive down a fairly steep hill. There is a bus that goes to the beach and back so don't worry if you are walking. The parking is adequate but I'm super busy summer days, it would fill up very quickly

All in all, a very good place to chill

We were in the city to see a play and decided to plan this sightseeing tour for the next day. We really enjoyed the visit. We got there around 9:30 am on a Sunday morning and the parking lot for the beach was completely full with lots of people still searching for parking spots. We were able to find a spot in the marina lot and decided to start our exploring there. What a beautiful walk. We happened upon a location in the park that was filming for a tv series (I think). It was open to exploring but we were not allowed to touch or remove anything as they were not filming that day. What an amazing area to look at and take pictures. We also went to see an area that had an ecosystem for looking at. We happened across a crane and watched it for quite a while. We spent a couple of hours here but easily could have spent the whole day. it was very hot and we were not prepared for that much time. If we ever go back, we will have to plan more as well as familiarize ourselves with the entire Bluffs area to fully appreciate its beauty!
