Pappy's bbq Joint

Food was delicious. Restrooms were neet and tidy. Wait time was really a bummer almost lost our appetite, but depends on the time of the year you visit. Staffs were very friendly.

This place is a hidden gem. So delicious and friendly staff. My husband and I ordered the brisket sammi and pulled pork sammi with the intent to share(so we could try both🙂). The waitress heard us and was nice enough to have half of each sandwich already cut and on each of our plates! Cannot say enough about the food and service....outstanding!

If your in this part of the island it's a must stop, not far from woods island ferry, on the way to Charlottetown. Don't be quick to look for fish and chips because that's mostly what you'll get on the island... and believe me in no time you'll be greasy food out. Not only is the food great...I had the BBQ ribs and ceasar salad there's a great extensive play ground here for kids...corn maze, basketball, trampoline, large sand box with a ton of toys, swings, slides ect. Staff was wonderful and Hans (Pappy) even stopped by the table to check in on the dining experience.

Terrific BBQ place. Ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, brisket sandwich potato salad, corn bread, Caesar salad and the dirty chicken poutine and sweet tea. Large portions but a little overpriced for some items overall. Potato salad was bland and the potatoes were hard. The staff were super friendly.

We have a Pappy's BBQ where I live in St. Louis, so of course we needed to check this one out. It was a great BBQ joint - the best we've been to in PEI so far. I ordered a Hot Chicken sandwich which is hard to get right even in the US! It was super, and actually hot! Loved it. Had a great conversation with the young lady in the shop - hope she remembers to watch "Sling Blade"!
