Victoria Park Outdoor Pool & Splash Pad

We were visiting Charlottetown, and the girls wanted to swim in a pool. We made our way here, only to find it was closed due to some problem in the bathrooms.

We waited a while, then left to see if we could find a beach. The tide wasn't cooperating, so we went back to the pool.

When we FINALLY got there again, it was open, but we couldn't go in. Be warned, they have a schedule and allow people entrance in shifts!

No worries...we got to go swimming very shortly after. It was a BLAZING hot day, which was good because the water was freezing!

I still gave this pool a good rating, because we had fun, it was very family-oriented, it was free, and I miss having an outdoor pool in my hometown.

Nice. Walkway along the waters edge. Playground, splash pad, and an ice cream shack too.

I took my class from summer camp there and they had so much fun in the splash pads (i personally had fun too) the washrooms in Victoria Park were also helpful when it came to changing into dry clothes. Also right beside the splash pad there is a shaded area for resting or even for the kids to eat snack.

Very beautiful place, here you can have a great time with children, swimming pool, playground, benches.
