Knit Pickers PEI

My sister in law Jean and I had a wonderful time here. It was so much. Thank you Margaret for being patient with me. Jean finished hers. Looks beautiful. She will help me if I have trouble. It was a beautiful little shop.

WOW. Margaret was a FIND! Trust your instincts and turn in to find a trove of PEI history & a loom knitting lesson and leave with a completed cowl. Lovely local skeins of wool. Margaret is the knitters guru. Lovely find.

Cute little yarn shop. Owner was very friendly and full of storeys. It was fun stopping in and picking up something new. I especially loved the hand carved Nostepinne for hand winding centre pull yarn balls.

A wonderfully talented Margaret can teach people like me how to knit! Lol. The loom knitting seminar that I went to was very interesting and I caught on so quickly and couldn't believe how easy it was! She is so helpful and always a pleasure to chat with!

Recommended! This is excellent place to find a special "souvenir" yarn or notion, or for non-knitting visitors to get help choosing a gift for the knitter back home.

We had a spontaneous and quick visit on a very rainy day. The owner was a delight to talk to, and very knowledgeable about every product in the shop, many of which we wouldn't find anywhere else.

Hopefully we will get another chance to stop in, or even to participate in one of the workshop experiences.
