“An absolute hidden gem! Among the top fine dining restaurants I've eaten at, with easily one of the best and most unique deserts I've ever had. Their chocolate "fondant" with balsam fir flavour is a game changer. It is a little bit like a brownie mixed with the taste of an evergreen tree for lack of a better description. I was afraid the chocolate flavour would overwhelm the fir but they complement each other perfectly. This should be a new seasonal staple. We also went just after the associated Parc Omega closes during the week and had the entire restaurant to ourselves! The location is a bit out of the way but I highly recommend this place, especially during the week, if you want to spoil your significant other with a romantic dinner or to impress a date. Don't forget that you have to reserve in advance.”

“We had a wonderful one night stay in this hotel that is located on Montebello's main street, near the camping/marina where you can go for a nice evening walk. The owners were very kind and helpful with any questions we had. We expected to have a room but actually it was an apartment with a small kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare a good meal. Everything looked new and was sparkling clean. In the morning, the owners brought up a very nice breakfast (fruit, fruit juice, croissant) at the time that was most convenient for us. We recommend this hotel 100%!”

“We visit today the restaurant with some friends, it was a very nice place, service was incredible and food fantastic They have a local beer, the IPA is very recommended, don't remember the name, however you can ask for the Montebello IPA, they will know We order steak, pizza and onion soup. Onion soup was amazing, very recommended as well the fried calamari. If you only wish to take a beer, there is a nice bar, where you can order food. This restaurant is located in a very small town, however it's very nice I love it Restaurant is kids friendly”

“Well kept and nicely manicured grounds. This is an interesting historic site that everyone who is in the area should visit at least once. Quiet when I visited, overlooking the river on one side and the forest and hotel grounds on the other sides. Visited in the summer time, however looks like winter activities would be quite interesting as well. Recommended.”

“Le Petit Chateau is a great B&B located on rue Notre Dame, right in the middle of charming Montebello. We stayed there for one night for a wedding in town. The bilingual staff is friendly and attentive. Our room was very nice and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (the crepes were amazing). Highly recommended.”

“We stayed at the Chateau Montebello for my husband's birthday and had his birthday dinner at Aux Chantignoles. The experience was just okay in terms of both the food and the service. Nothing on the menu was overly inspiring - the soup of the day was a cream of butternut squash with basil oil that was very thin for a cream based soup. The tenderloin fillet was a bit dry despite the fact that Aux Chantignoles classifies itself as a steakhouse and the cheese ravioli was extremely bland. We ordered the chocolate fondant to top off the evening and the house-made ice cream was so difficult and hard to eat it really was not appealing to cap off a birthday evening.”
