The Loft At Madrona

I thought I had reviewed the loft after returning to Texas from our trip two months ago....apparently I had not. Our dinner(s) we’re so good during our four nights on the island, I continue to follow their menu changes in hopes I can get back sooner than later to have more dinners! The staff here is wonderful, energetic, passionate about their offerings and very warm and welcoming. The food was, by far, the best on the island (in our opinion)!!!! I hope everyone has a chance to visit this little rooftop gem at least one time in their life!

My experience started off rocky with a miscommunication between myself and one of the waiters. We decided to stick with it and I am glad we did. The food is easily the best on the island and the presentation was great. It is geared to an approachable fine dining experience with unique flavor combinations and preparation. They care about the ingredients they get and the handling of them and that comes through in the dishes. Worked out the miscommunication with the staff member and our evening was great. Would recommend 100%.

Absolutely delicious. And superb service.
We walked in with a party of three, had a 10 min wait for a table during which we enjoyed the bartender and cocktails. Tab was transferred to table without asking. Rooftop patio seating for dinner was beautiful and all three entrees and multiple apps were great. Squid ink tagliatelle w halibut and roe, gnocchi w local greens and chicken, and local clams in a white sauce. Definitely 5* for us. Can’t see how this isn’t at least a 4.5 overall. Every server we dealt with was prompt, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend it.

This place is upper crust and higher class, and when I walked in with a t-shirt on after taking photos all day, I was looked at like a bum in a Mercedes dealership. Pretty high prices for not that much food.

I’m still dreaming about dinner at The Loft. It was like being back in Italy only with fresh Orcas ingredients. The Loft has a new chef and attentive staff that will make your experience even more enjoyable. Be sure to end your dinner with the most beautiful desserts that will make you want to go back again- and we did.
