Car broke down on the drive to the ski resort. No cell signal, no law enforcement passed by, so I spent the night in the car and then walked 7 miles to Glacier. Just walking along the highway was still the most picturesque hike I've ever done, and I cannot wait to return. The plant life was like nothing I'd ever seen and the cold drizzle (was a mild storm and below the snow line) made it seem like something out of a fairy tale. There are days when I think I dreamed this jaunt but my pictures say otherwise. I recommend to the highest degree.

Made the mistake of hiking this trail after someone took their horses up. There was a ton of "evidence" of said horses all the way up the hiking trail and it was gross. Would have been nicer if owners cleaned up after their animals so others could enjoy the hike fully.

Besides that, I know this hike is marked as difficult, but I've been on moderate rated hikes that seemed harder so I think it's probably just a personal experience thing. The view takes awhile to get to, but once you reach the top, it's beautiful.
