Small place, funky decor. The server we had didn't seem to have any knowledge of what beers they had on tap. When we asked for a drink menu we were directed to a small chalkboard at the side of the bar. They also do not have a food menu, just another small chalkboard we had to awkwardly go over to which was right above someone's table.
A great atmosphere with great food. It's one of my favourites to go to. I wish they would offer more traditional dishes of that we could go to the restaurant with others that aren't too fond of sandwiches and soups.
The name is unappetizing, but the sandwiches were delicious! Even at lunch time on a Tuesday, the restaurant was more than half full - sign of a local gem! I had the brisket sandwich with soup. The sandwich was delicious. My friend had the sandwich special, which was pear, chicken, ham and fig jam...also really good! Would recommend to anyone looking for a casual lunch in the area. Next time, I'd like to try the nachos, which are made with Doritos!!
This place is great! The service was great and the food was fantastic. Not a run of the mill burger joint. Not a huge place but it still sat a decent amount of people. Great beverage selection as well. Definitely going back again.
The staff was excellent, thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu. We were turned away from another restaurant (too busy) Serendipity for us. The tomato roasted red pepper bisque was divine. The hot sandwich wonderful!!!! I definitely recommend worth turning into town for. You will not be disappointed.
