Lions Head Inn

A quick walk from the business area of Lions Head or the waterfront, this English style pub is a friendly, comfortable spot for some cold local beers and great beyond pub food. I'm so glad I stopped in here for lunch on a hot late summer day. Our wait staff greeted us with cold water and a smile. We had a few pints of local beer (very inexpensive and tasty) and some amazing sandwiches. Fresh perch is also on the menu in both appetizers and mains. Beautiful little patio overlooking the street and a healthy apple tree. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly we quickly found ourselves making new friends from across Ontario while enjoying our brews and food on the patio.

We returned to Lion's Head for another evening at this fine pub. They were busy but invited us into the bar for a short wait of a table. The owner and bartender was entertaining and amicable. They have great staff.
I had all you can eat fish and chips and didn't need to get more. My wife had yorkies which was an appetizer as her meal. The food and service was great and above standard. We enjoyed a great quality selection from the bar. Cost was typical.
This is definitely a great place to add to your agenda.

Had the fish and chips, it was delicious!!! Super hot and fresh. My family also let the restaurant know it was my birthday and I got an amazing dessert. We ate on the patio and had a great time.

I loved this restaurant for many reasons, the primary one being that they allow dogs to sit on patio while we eat! We chose the popular meal of fish and chips with a side Caesar salad. Every bite was yum! I wish more restaurants like this! My Lucy was very well behaved and it gave my husband and I do have a chance to fully enjoy our meal. Pets are important, and when traveling, a restaurant like this should get 10 stars!

Amazing service and amazing food! Got fish and chip special - that was delicious, a little greasy but still very good! Also got a homemade burger which was awesome! The service was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend eating on the nice patio.
