    I have stayed at the motel before and had lunch there. Tonight we took a friend for supper. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. This will be our choice in the Lion's Head area for favourite place to eat. Now called Bear Tracks right on HWY 6 in Ferndale.

    It's under new management and is called Bear Tracks... The food was good (I had burger and fries, nothing too complicated ????) and service was friendly and helpful. Judging from the number of local people in there it is very popular so it must be good. Nice to see a good place to eat in Ferndale again after the last owner of the red roof place across Hwy 6 ran that restaurant into the ground!
