    Great little place on the east side of highway 35. Come for the fish and chips, stay for the Kawartha dairy dessert.

    I've been coming here since I was a child, place is run by the same, very friendly people. Always a joy to eat in the outdoors on the bench overlooking the lake (sort-of).

    Check out the photos for this place, you can see their menu. Don't think it's changed much since the 90s. These folks are making a few different things really, really well.

    Handy little spot to stop for some delish fish and chips. Cash only.

    Great fries. They also serve Kawartha Dairy ice cream. Unlike the location in Minden, there is only ever one or two people in line.

    Wife needs to go here everytime we go to cottage. It's pretty good. Sometimes people are sweet as pie, other times it a bit like the soup Nazi. We say there is a nice twin and evil twin. It's kind of entertaining. It's a chip stand, friendliness isn't that important.
