As a pub, it had a great atmosphere and drinks (the Caesars were delicious). Food-wise, however, I was a bit disappointed... I got the potato skin appetizer, which is essentially potato slices with green onions and cheddar cheese. It cost me $16 and there were only 4 little potato slices! They didn't taste bad or anything but I expect a bit more for that price (either in quality or quantity).
I would still return for drinks and the great service :). I can't comment on the other food items, but I hear their fish and chips are great in terms of portion size.
Great place for lunch or supper! Food is hot and fresh. Pints are cold! Great selection of draft beers. A great Waterdown spot.
Delicious meals, we went on Taco Thursday and enjoyed battered shrimp tacos and beef with horseradish, Dijon mustard. Delicious! Soft tacos only but super tasty!
We sat on the patio which has vines and other plants growing at the fence, providing a barrier to the traffic on Dundas Street. Bare bulb light strings hang from trees on the patio. Lovely spot!
The fish and chips was served fast and was like butter and candy. Didn't have to wait long at all for our meal. The patio was refreshing with lots of friendly and pretty waitresses.
