“Recently dined at the Riverbank Cookhouse this past weekend. As a vegetarian, I was concerned that it would be hard to find a full, hearty meal (more than fries) in a smaller town. This restaurant had a delicious veggie burger, and the chef made it just the way I requested it. The side fries were also delicious! Service was fast, friendly and the restaurant provided excellent value. My boyfriend had (and really enjoyed) the fish and chips. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area. My only complaint is that they were only open one day a week.”

“My wife and I live 2 1/2 hours away, so our recent visit was the only experience we have had with this KFC. The lady on the counter (Vivien) was very personable, humourous, patient and helpful. (she was a great example of what an employee should be) As for the food, it was great! good portions, moist, good value, and served quickly. Now, I will admit that we were there about 1:30 p.m. so we don't know if things would be different during peak times. We can only go by our first-time experience. TO THE MANAGEMENT! (We do not know Vivien, but from our dealing with her yesterday, she seems to be the kind of employee you want to take care of, and I hope you do, or someone else will)....and to anyone who reads this review....NO, we have no affiliation with this KFC or any of it's employees. We are just a senior couple from the Bancroft area relating our one and only visit to this location...If we are in Lindsay again sometime, we would deifinitely visit this KFC again.”

“Not a bad place for a Thai in cottage town. However, the dishes are too sweet. The food is still good, but for anyone who has tried an authentic Thai restaurant, you won't be pleased. If you are in the area and feel like Thai, I'd suggest that you go for it. But don't go with the expectations for the food to be a 4+ star quality authentic Thai. Great service, no complaints there and the facility is clean.”
