“We ate at the Swiss Chalet. The food is reliably good and prices aren’t bad. The service wasn’t great. We wanted something a couple of times and couldn’t find a server. We were with a lovely gentleman in his nineties. Servers need to understand how difficult it can be for the aged to be left waiting”

“Fast, good service, and excellent food. Was never a fan before but I think they've recently redone their menu and it's really good now. Salt and pepper wings were delicious. My ribs were meaty - a but under-sauced but a little extra sauce on the side fixed that. This location gets very busy at dinner!”

“Hey Shelly; I stopped in for a quick sandwich around 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. I ordered your smoked meat sandwich with fries. It was kinda okay. I might have sent it back for being pretty chewy, but I haven't seen a waiter (super friendly btw)since I ordered...I have been finished for 10 mins or so....still nobody. I didn't send it back because I am in a hurry...Anyway, I am actually enjoying the music and the atmosphere...but I really gotta go. PLEASE try your sandwich...see if it might just be me. The photocopy of the pickle was kinda cheap. Am gonna stop in on the way through next week. I really do like your place....just a friendly critique is all. All the best.”

“My wife and I live 2 1/2 hours away, so our recent visit was the only experience we have had with this KFC. The lady on the counter (Vivien) was very personable, humourous, patient and helpful. (she was a great example of what an employee should be) As for the food, it was great! good portions, moist, good value, and served quickly. Now, I will admit that we were there about 1:30 p.m. so we don't know if things would be different during peak times. We can only go by our first-time experience. TO THE MANAGEMENT! (We do not know Vivien, but from our dealing with her yesterday, she seems to be the kind of employee you want to take care of, and I hope you do, or someone else will)....and to anyone who reads this review....NO, we have no affiliation with this KFC or any of it's employees. We are just a senior couple from the Bancroft area relating our one and only visit to this location...If we are in Lindsay again sometime, we would deifinitely visit this KFC again.”

“Great place! Great food! Also, my husband forgot his brand new iphone there one time when he was picking up food and didn’t realize it until he got home. He called and the owner had his phone for him. He told us that another customer had tried to take the phone but he confronted them and made them give it back to him. We are very thankful. Many people would not have cared enough to even notice. Never mind confront someone and make them give it back!”

“My son Chris and I come to Lindsay every Tuesday.When we enter Boston Pizza we are greeted by Glenna.She remembers we like to sit in a booth.Shawna brings us our usually drinks, she tells us the soup of the day and then gives us time to review the menu, there are 3 menus right now. Mark or Brad...come by and check in with us. I have a lot of food allergies and I am able to adjust my selection as needed. Our drinks are always full. It is open.airy.lots of tvs for viewing. There was sufficient staff in some areas, but one girl was dressed in going home mode, she was behind the counter while waiting for a personal food order, and in doing so she was talking to other staff, said females appeared to be solely working the drive-through stations; which in my opinion did not help the professional attitude I was expecting from those other females on staff. With that female leaving, only one staff member was working the cash registers. AND that Young Man deserves a Recommendation for his efforts and service PLUS he was hustling as much as he could to get the orders fulfilled and processed. Lindsay McDonald's is a good place, but they should at staffing concerns after 9PM.”

“I often visit this restaurant with my Mom, and we have never had a bad experience yet! Last weekend we had a Birthday Lunch for her with 34 of her family and friends attending. Everyone at the restaurant was very accommodating and pleasant as usual. The food was great, and everyone was served in good timing! I was very impressed with how they handled everything from the moment we called to see if they can handle a large group to the very end of our little get together! The GOOD news: nice little patio in small friendly town, very pleasant server, very clean washrooms, served quickly with no mistakes, server asked about allergies, etc., wheel chair accessible, caters to vegetarians. The inside was cafeteria type atmosphere, but clean. The BAD news: You could prepare this food better yourself. Sauces, spicing bland. Food was not authentic Thai, at least not the many authentic Thai restaurants I have visited. It tasted warmed up and some of the vegetables were overcooked. This food may pass in a small town, but do not claim to be Thai. It reminded me of food I had in Shanghai.”
