“Delicious! Saw some 5 star reviews for this place so we had to try it. Went for lunch and we all got the brisket sandwich. Amazing! Super tender, great flavour, melt in your mouth, yadda yadda all the best things you’d wanna hear for brisket. The coleslaw and sweet whiskey sauce were great on top. You cannot beat the flavour and portion for the price! The owner was nice, chatty and has a great family connection to the place. Would highly recommend and would definitely return as a happy customer.”

“Made a stop here today to have some ice cream and butter tarts. It's a small place but has lots of variety from ice cream, pies, butter tarts, bars, sandwiches, premade salads and frozen foods, etc. The family got some ice cream cones and I had a butter tart. The butter tart had a tender pastry and a filling was was gooey and balanced in sweetness. Pretty good tart! The service was very friendly. Definitely a must stop if in town to see the falls...”

“We ordered take-out this weekend for the second time, and had a wonderful experience both times. The staff is courteous and friendly, they're willing to make substitutions for the meals, and the order was ready exactly on time. The food was excellent, hot, fresh and flavourful and doesn't taste mass produced, as some others tend to. They have some dishes there not normally seen at commercial Chinese restaurants, and if you like a bit of heat, I highly recommend the 'Spicy Double Cooked Bacon Style Pork'. This is our go-to for take-out Chinese in Lindsay now!”

“The local Howard Johnson receptionist Dillon told us that the best restaurant in Lindsay was the Grand. It was a family restaurant that has been serving Lindsay's pop of about 21,000 people for over 45 years. It's on the main drag and easy to find. We had the homemade spaghetti with fresh garlic tomato sauce and French onion soup. Both were succulent”

“Only here once. Had halibut and fries ,and ,an order of 1 piece of haddock. It was all quite good. Only complaint is that , for my taste , the batter was a bit too thick. It was cooked very well though. Prices are reasonable and service excellent. I will go back.”

“Charmin’s Wholesome Foods provides the best catering experience I could have asked for! They catered my sister’s wedding last weekend and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect meal. They looked after a cocktail hour with everything you could imagine, then provided a delicious buffet style meal and thought of all the little details for 125 people. Desserts were amazing and everyone raved about the whole meal from start to finish. Charmin and her team were so professional, organized and nice to work with. My mom, sister and I also went to her cafe in Lindsay. The food and service was great there too and we were able to customize a menu that was exactly what the bride wanted.
