The Lake Hound

We have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We use to come here a lot before they changed names, but stopped when we changed to a vegan diet. The vegan options were very limited then. Since the name change, we discovered they brought on more vegan selections and we have been back twice. Both times the food, we had, was delicious. We are very pleased with the additional vegan selections and will be back. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and recommend every vegan give them a try.

THE GOOD
Food is incredibly tasty and healthy. Quality of food is top notch (and you pay for it $). Our waitress was great.

NEEDS IMOROVEMENT
Weight times after being seated were painfully long. Estimate is 20 minutes being getting our food but that was probably because a large table of 25 people came in just before us, who likely didn't make a reservation.

Expensive, but in this car you get what you pay for. Healthy AND tasty.

THOUGHTS
I'd definitely go back, food, service and atmosphere were so good!

Incredible food, beautifully redone inside! Had the sweet beet tacos which were lettuce wraps, and the Jack in the bun( bun was kinda hard and they should give you a steak knife to cut it.) Was really great though. I will come back!!

Same owners as the previous establishment, "Aunt Gussie's".
Great food and service still.
A little more expensive than before but worth it!
More variety of choices, traditional, vegan and in between.
Also now has a liquor license.
Well worth a stop or two on your vacation or just passing by.

Nice place. Nice food. Good price. We had a great breakfast time. Even on big line wait a 15 minutes. But worth it , they wrote a “thank you “on receipt also with a smile face. It makes me feel so welcome. We Will back one day.
