Don's Fish & Chips

Old fashioned British fish & Chips served wrapped up in newspaper. Great takeout, no dine in. However there is a wonderful park with picnic tables just a short walk away to enjoy your meal at.
Large meal is served with 2 pieces of fish (haddock or cod) and plenty of fries. Tasty & fresh.

Fantastic place to go always busy but the line goes fast. They know their job and do it. It is so worth the wait. Fish and chip is the best. Everything is fresh and homemade batter so are the pogos

This is the place to be at if you are a fish and chips lover. My cousin that was so impressed as he heard for years this was the place and he finally got his first bite! He lives hours away and he is planing to come back already. Calling it the best he ever had!

Tried the cod and it tastes great. Meaty and tender, and just the right amount of batter, not too much. The chips were good too. The car smelled great as we drove down the street to Hardy Park to dine at one of the several picnic tables there, as other reviewers have wisely recommended. This is an old-fashion chipper that reminds me of the ones in Ireland.

Every summer my husband and go to Don's fish and chips and then we take our food and go sit in the park to see the ships on the water. It is a perfect afternoon date trip. My husband has been going for over 40 years it is simply a family tradition. The authentic fish and chips are so yummy.
