“Amazing 10/10 would drive here again, totally worth the drive. I am gluten free and vegan and I’m so happy with all of the options - my only complaint is it is really icing heavy on top so naturally that makes them very sweet. Everything was fresh and all the employees were super friendly. It’s nicely decorated with a decent amount of seating space. I’m proud that they had reusable cups for water/coffee/tea and reusable cutlery etc. It’s nice to see sustainability in a business. My fiancé has the peachy Keene loose leaf tea and said it wasn’t that peach heavy in flavour. I had a maple & a vanilla latte; the vanilla was my favourite and I was so happy they had so many non-dairy milk options. Like I said, would defiantly come again.”

“Black Walnut Bakery Cafe has the best baked goods in town. Everything is always fresh and delicious. For lunch, I love the chicken pot pie or one of the soups, which are always flavourful. The staff is friendly and the cafe itself is warm and cozy. In warm weather the option exists to sit outside. This is a great place to meet a friend for a cup of tea or coffee, have a snack and chat. Parking is on the street, but since Wortley Village is lovely, and a great place for walking, I don't consider that a drawback in the least.”

“This the only place that I will ever buy cinnamon buns from. The Cinnamon buns taste and softness is absolutely amazing and I don't think there is a better breakfast in the city. This place can be busy though sometime there is a wait but its defiantly worth it.”
