“There are a lot of activities here. Obviously weather permitting. It was very windy yesterday but the woods cut out the wind so that we had a pleasant walk on snow shoes supplied by the resort. They are working hard to groom a skating rink but again the weather did not cooperate so in 10 minutes we were in Gravenhurst swimming (YMCA) in the morning and back in the afternoon for skating at the community centre. I am waiting to be able to go cross country skiing, as this should be a lovely activity on this property.”

“We have a family cottage just outside Gravenhurst, and whenever we're up we like to stop here. The poutine is delicious and they use real cheese curds. Their prices are reasonable and the servings are enormous; be wary of ordering the large as it could feed a small army. Below is the "medium." It easily feeds three to four.”

“I dropped in for a quick lunch and discovered that they made a curried beef dish, so I ordered one. When it arrived it was HUGE and made up with lightly cooked green peppers, red peppers, onions and beef in a brown curry sauce. It was spicy enough for most people but the finest part was the beef. The beef was finely sliced, oh so tender, with a wonderful flavor. The combination of the flavors, the crispness of the fresh vegetables, and the colors all combined into a masterpiece. Bravo.”

“We were a party of 4, out for dinner after moving house. Three burgers, and one 1/2 order of pickerel bites. Burgers were huge, and obviously freshly made, and the pickerel was beautiful. Bonus for me: my tea was brought in a proper 2 cup pot with the bag already in. Great pub/ sports bar, friendly and efficient staff and darn good food! Great pub”

“Had a wonderful breakfast at this super cute tea shop! You can tell there is love and attention to detail in every corner from the matching blue decor to the delicious homemade food. A perfect spot for a quiet lunch with friends, or a place to bring a book and enjoy some amazing tea (they have quite a variety, honestly it was hard to pick). “Having been at this McDonalds at least 5 times these are my observations. The staff is always very friendly and courteous, the food is good (in relation to other McDonald's), and the facilities are clean. The only reason this is a 4 star versus a 5 in relation to other fast food places only is that this location has a tendency to accidentally get something wrong on the order. 3 out of 5 times. So check your bag before you drive off ????”

“My family and I just visited this location on Christmas Eve for a late lunch because of the power outage in Bracebridge. We arrived 15 minutes before the holiday closing hours and let me tell you, these guys are the hardest working crew. People were arriving up until 3:00pm and they were still served and received hot food. They were running around serving drive thru, dining room and the takeout. Kudos to this staff for doing such a great job. We enjoyed our meals. Take the salary of the owner (who probably wasn’t there on Christmas Eve) and give it to those hard workers. They earned it more.”

“Although I have not yet had the original wings, the boneless wings are very good. A lot of different wing sauces to choose from. It is surprisingly not very busy and the workers make you feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a good wing meal. Also, Tuesdays is a cheap night and the wings are a great price compared to similar restaurants!”
