(October 14, 2019, 3:31 am)This place is fantastic if your around bala please go there, if it’s not a Tuesday it’s a bit on the pricy side. But so worth it, ate every last bit. The people there are crazy nice and gave me a free drink and a discount on the tacos. Great employees, great food, great everything.

(October 8, 2019, 2:09 am)Great find in Bala! Looking for a quick meal passing through town and we stumbled upon Taco Kar. We were thrilled!!! The tacos were delicious, as were the beans. It is cash only, but highly recommend. Service was quick and friendly. Outside seating is available.

(September 30, 2019, 4:39 pm)It was a pleasant surprise to see an authentic Mexican taco place in Muskoka area. The tacos did not disappoint. I have been to many taco bars in Toronto (price-y taco bars) and I must say that Taco Kar's tacos are as just delicious and way better in terms of price. 3 tacos for $11? Good Deal! A taco in Toronto is about $10 (a piece). Looking forward to drop by at this place again when I'm in the area.

From one chef to another, thank you for bringing this gem to the heart of Muskoka! Absolutely outstanding!
