“After watching or catching salmon, go grab some pizza at Jim's. Excellent service. Cozy inside and a nice little patio outside. The toppings are plentiful and the pan pizza crust is just right. No thin crust in this joint but that's okay when the cheese is stringy and the crust has a nice bite. They also use paper straws so kudos to that! Well worth the stopover in downtown Port Hope.”

“Having grown up eating East Indian foods I love when I have the opportunity to enjoy it prepared by someone other than myself, with this in mind I tried U92. I was very impressed with the butter chicken & samosas I ordered. The butter chicken was both sweet & hot in good proportion & served with rice. The samosas were a flavour delight. Apparently the "heat" of the dishes can be adjusted when ordering as well. They will be offering delivery as well. So in case you can't tell... I recommend this take away restaurant.”

The tortillas were made fresh that day and there was an option of adding a fourth taco to the three taco order to better split between 2 persons. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Except for the cops that were across the street who pulled me over over an hour and a half after I left and accuse me of drinking. I told them to go into the restaurant grab the waitress and ask her I tipped her $32 and I didn't even drink so if you're going to go there the only thing I suggest look on the other side of the street they are looking at you good thing I do not drink but the cops did pull me over an hour and a half later and tried the same thing and I told them why would you let someone leave who you suspected was drunk and other than that am I under investigation”

“I went for the "traditional" style breakfast served on proper dishes. Didn't get my tea in a mug... Made me think afterward that I was supposed to ask specifically for a mug. My sunny-side-up eggs were not as cooked as I was expecting. Very quiet restaurant which is not usual for an A&W chain. The inside of the restaurant and the washroom were clean. The staff was polite. They prepare their food without wearing gloves, which I know some fast food restaurant staff do also, but it's not something that I am comfortable with. The surroundings of the restaurant looked a bit neglected, making the restaurant look quite isolated.”
