Local Lansdowne

We came to Ottawa for a business trip and decided to have a night out. Ended up being referred to the bar next door but it was too full to get a seat. Went next door to local and had one of the best nights out in a while. It was Alex’s first day behind the bar and did an amazing job. Danielle was also looking after us and was a wonderful help to Alex when she had any questions. Highly recommend a visit here! The beer was a fair price and the fish tacos were amazing!

Always a favorite for me and my family, expect a boisterous amount of noise and people but great atmosphere and tasty food.

However, the seared juicy tuna sandwich which I loved so much has been replaced by a dry "blackened tuna" on a bun and it's nowhere near as good. ????

I love Local, from their great design to their great food, to their wonderful staff and great beer selection, they're just amazing. One of the few places that can get more enjoyable the busier it is, since everyone is having a good time with good food and drink. Must not miss out on Local if you haven't tried it before!

The craft beer menu is pretty nice, with lots of different revolving beers. The patio was huge and had a long wait. The beer prices were reasonable and they had different specials depending on the day.

The food was pretty good too. If I was in town longer, I would have liked to go back and try a few more items on the menu.
