This review is for Tavern on the Falls. This spot is next to the Rideau Falls. The views are stunning! The service is great at the bar and drinks are delicious. A little expensive but understandable. Did not get to try the food this time, but will definitely next time. Worth venturing over and experiencing. Best place to enjoy the outdoors with some drinks and friends!
I’m so happy that Tavern opened up a second location in Ottawa. This one is in a quaint area, with gorgeous views of the waterfall. It’s quite pricey, but coming for a drink isn’t so bad.
Absolutely stunning location. Great views and a really nice set up with tables and chairs. Wasn’t much of vibe when we were there because of weather but could see how good it would be with lots of people. Drinks were a bit pricey and only one local Ottawa Craft beer on tap. Overall, very nice.
Very cool patio bar and stage in downtown Ottawa. Beautiful views of Quebec and the waterfall. Drink selection and food is good and well priced. The biggest issue with this place is the seating, as it’s first come first serve, and people will arrive as a party of 1 and hold a table of 6 chairs for an hour before their party arrives. Expect to battle over the seating but otherwise it’s a great spot.
I like this spot better than Tavern on the Hill because it is less busy. Great cocktails, and a few beer choices on tap. Would be great if they good get some more local craft beer. The food menu is good but leaves a little something to be desired as it's all quick dishes to make with low cost ingredients. A great spot to grab a drink, a quick and small bite to eat, and enjoy the views.
