The Arrow & Loon Pub

Sad to see this Glebe landmark go, closed to make way for more condo development in the Glebe. We loved it. Thanks to the owners, management and staff for many years of great food, drink, service and awesome specials (breakfast/brunch, 1/2 price Wednesdays) in a friendly pub setting with a warm ambiance. We miss it! Although, I hear it may reopen soon at another location....

Friendly staff quick service. Too bad the building they are located in is getting torn down for a new development.

Stopped in here before the RedBlacks game. They have a great selection of beer and a huge burger menu. I've also come for trivia which was well run and fun. Great pub!

The service was fine. Waited about 20 mins for our food. Liked how they named their burgers after First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Ave (the street in which they are located).
I was satisfied with my order of a plain simple burger that came with half fries and half salad. Pretty good. Best sweet potato fries I have ever tried!

It is a nice, cozy place. Outdoor seating included as well as a bar. I personally liked that there was another space to sit outside the restaurant in the plaza, a safe place from rain and snow.

I visited the Arrow and Loon for the first time in years with a friend of mine in early April. It was alright. My friend had a poutine, and I had the onion rings to start, and the Mac and Cheese with salad as a main. The issue for me was that it was simply alright. There wasn't anything to complain about, really. The service was fine, and quite friendly, although perhaps a bit on the slower side, since we were on the indoor patio. My biggest issue was the food. It was, given the price, not great. It was perfectly fine, but nothing interesting and somewhat bland. As well, the speed of the service wasn't fantastic, and then, given the wait, the food was somewhat disappointing. I can't speak to the bar aspect of dining here, which I assume is somewhat more interesting, but personally, for the price, I believe there are considerably better options with more interesting cuisine.
