“Out of all the Thai restaurants I frequent, I always come back to Thai Coconut as my favorite one. It helps that the place is spotless and they have the friendliest people working there but it is more so because of the food. I have tried many different dishes and have never been disappointed. My favorites include the beef Lapp salad and pretty much any of the curry dishes. I highly recommend this place!”

“Old standby - tried and true. If you got the yen for Tex Mex old faithful will do nicely. At one time this restaurant was one of the highest grossing per table in the world. Food is predictably great and there is a wide variety of great drinks. You can bring a date or the kids (but both at the same time is not recommended) and everybody will have a great time.”

“We have been seeing this restaurant for some time. Yesterday we decided to give it a try. Our love for spicy & authentic food made us more intrigued and I’m glad to say this place was hit for us. The menu was a bit tricky wished there were pictures along the menu for examples. However we like the fact they stay true to their culture and that’s one thing that makes this place even more unique. It definitely not your typical ‘chinese’ restaurant that has sweet and sour chicken and your typical food court options. Get ready to see some options you’ve probably didn’t think of before.”

“Domino's has the best sauce, and this is their best location in Ottawa (I've had a few). They never skimp on your toppings, even when you use the 50% off promo code. Always worth it, the pizza chefs at this location are really good! The only time I had an issue with delivery time, they gave me my pizza free (they didn't have to, but could see I was a repeat customer). Always great to deal with for pick up too. Highly recommend. Gotta sign up for their emails to get the best promo codes. I love their app so you know when your pizza's on it's way :-)”

“Went for lunch. While the owner was very kind, or whoever that was, the rest of the experience was lacking. I do enjoy 'rough around the edges' bars but there is a line. Walked in and the lights were off and the place had flies. So I'm sitting there and the 4 people at the bar start discussing politics, oh God. I will not write what was said but it was racist and kinda scary. I hesitated to say something but I remembered what part of town I was in a decided not to. Some girl rolls in with a wheelchair and people at the bar are like "she doesn't even need a chair, what is she doing". She proceeded to stand up, and demand a pint and then walk to where the servers go , and ring the bell . "CAN I GET A BLUE!". She was there for all of thirty seconds. Buddy runs out with a Blue. The food was meh, the service was good. If I go back I'll try the pizza. Feel bad for the guy running the place that day, he has a very thick skin and I get why he walks around with his ear buds in.”

“Tasty! Normally you get the same standard fare for Chinese food but this little find was just unique enough to be memorable. First, the Shanghai noodles were spicy but not crazy hot or too sweet, made them sooo good. Peking duck was crispy with nice wraps, sauce and greens that makes me want to take out from here in the future or go back despite it being a considerable detour from my house.”

“To start off they make amazing food with a lot of different platters to choose from. When it comes to service it is a little slow at times but it's normal considering the amount of customers and delivery they have to deal with. The reason i gave four stars instead of five is due to their delivery process. My order got messed up twice in a row so i have to come pick up my food instead of getting it delivered.”

“I dislike when non Indian food connoisseurs try to write reviews on good Indian food. Reading a few sentences here tells me that immediately people just like to complain and don't know what they are talking about. We are here twice in the last 4 days. I'm Indian. The food is excellent and the tandoori dishes are spectacularly done. The dishes are authentic and with the right spices. On the second night, we had Karahi Chicken and it was delicious. Next time we're in Ottawa, we shall return. Cheers.”
