“Update as of October 2019: last couple of visits have been great! All issues below appear to have been resolved - great job!! ???? As a brand I love booster juice but was disappointed to find that you will repeatedly need to wait 15 to 30 minutes for a single item even if you’re the only customer in the store at this location. Employee scent hygiene also an issue. Hopefully management is checking reviews and can make some changes soon, unfortunately not a great start so far for this location.”

“Dairy Queen has always been great-- but what would make it better?? The new app that has discounts/coupons on it!! Works great and saves money (most things are "buy a cone/sundae/blizzard and get another for 99 cents"). Works perfectly when you have a couple of kids! The specials expire but new ones replace them so there is always a variety. Enjoy!”

“Had the pickerel dinner and it was delicious. They even serve real French fries not frozen...a real bonus and much appreciated. Just a small caution...getting your meal will mean a bit of a wait but if you want a home cooked meal then the wait is worth it. Our waitress who was really busy, was super nice and checked on with us regularly. Thanks for a good meal.”

“Fantastic Chinese food by all standards but especially for small town, lakeside. We fish this lake alot and are regretting not trying this place sooner. Everything was prepared perfectly and servings were quite plentiful. Staff was also very pleasant. My only regret was being to full for dessert because the table next to us had some delicious looking stuff.”

“Good restaurant with a great view. I love having the ability to dock the boat right there, and walk up the lawn to the restaurant. Wide selection of pub style food. It's got a great summer time Kawartha's vibe, watching the boats go by while having a drink or something to eat. It's located just upstream from one of the parks Canada Trent Severn locks which is nice for scenery and traffic... If you like seeing the boats.”

“I'm not too particular about pizza, but when I sit down for a slice, I want a beer and a comfy seat. Now, a slice is pretty much as close to instant food as it gets, even McDonald's isn't as quick as a good pizza place. So I went to the Night Kitchen today, walked in and one of the staff was far too busy with ONE TABLE to deal with the people ahead of me, and myself. I spent 5 minutes in there before I knew that wasn't the pizza shop for me. Walked 30 seconds over to Brother's and got my beer right away, and was eating within the same 5 minute window I got scared away from NK in. Let me tell you, Brother's is the real thing. Great crust, great sauce, great cheese, great meat. The staff actually give a F-word. I'll skip the hunter street hipsters. Didn't even break $10 on my bill.”
