“Been living near this restaurant for 3 years, absolutely nothing but impressed with their quality of service and food. Always friendly and serve their food with a smile. Hours are great, seem to be open all the time. The restaurant is quaint and small, but has a rustic and homey feel to it. Their wide variety of food on their menu is a great selection (I'm vegetarian and theres plenty to eat). Prices are reasonable and I love helping a local business.”

“I love going to the Keg, the prime rib is one of my favourite things in the entire world. Every single time I go I always get it and my boyfriend gets the New York peppercorn. “First time visiting last night. Service was excellent, we were seated right away. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. Portion sizes are very good. We ordered one of their Pizzas and a Burger. The Pizza could have served 2 people. It was well cooked and had lots of flavors. The burger was perfectly cooked, full of flavors and the bun was super fresh. The cafe attached has amazing desert / snack options. Highly recommend the over-sized chocolate chip cookie.”

“This is my favourite restaurant in Peterborough! The food is amazing (as it is with all The Keg locations). The steak is cooked to perfection and if it isn't to your liking, they will bring you another one without question. My favourite menu items are the twice-baked potatoes and the Billy Miner Pie. The twice-baked potatoes have a filling of mashed potato, sour cream, onion, bacon and cheese and it's so creamy and delicious. The Billy Miner Pie isn't actually a pie but a mocha ice cream cake topped with slivered almonds and it is incredible! They give this free to anyone celebrating a birthday there. The staff is beyond courteous, efficient and helpful and the manager stops by each table during the meal to make sure everyone is happy with the food and service. The ambiance and decor is very cozy, intimate, modern and upscale. It's the perfect place to celebrate special events, to go for a nice dinner or to go on a date.”
