“My group of motorcycle riders - 8 this time around - take an annual ride through the Ontario region to enjoy what Ontario's craft brewers can provide. The Second Wedge Brewing Company did not disappoint on our 7th annual ride! It is a great local brewery with both an inside and outside opportunity to have a seat and enjoy their great tasting offerings. They have a knowledgeable staff of the company and their products and the local area for food. Their beer "garden" out back was beautiful!”

“We had 12 people for a Birthday dinner on Saturday night. Was worried they may not be able to accommodate as they close at 10pm. Not only did they stay open later for us, they were so friendly and accommodating for a group with vegetarians, vegans, gluten free... everything! They got it all! The food all came out at the same time, hot and delicious. They even separated the bills without any issue. I wish I could remember our server's name - she was FABULOUS. Highly recommend this place, 10 out of 10 - thanks so much for a wonderful evening!”

“A very good pub. A menu to satisfy all of our group of 8 motorcycle riders. parking was available and plentiful. We were forewarned that the spice level on their hot is hotter than what you get at the "cookie-cutter" pubs. I am not a curry dish fan, but those in our group that ordered it said it was great! We had a great lunch, the waitresses were attentive to our requests and had great recommendations, and our meals came at the same time.”

“Typical fish and chips place. Lots of seating. Chips ,on 3 visits, tend to be a little under-done. Maybe next time I will ask for extra crispy. A side note: There are two tall steps,about 12 inches high,to climb while trying to enter the doorway. Keep this in mind if you're using a mobility device to enter either the fish&chips place or the Nexus cafe.”

“I gotta say, I come here about twice a week. Their food is so damn good! I mean their pizza is consistently the best pizza I've had in Durham. It's way better than any fast food pizza I've had. If you know of a better place to get pizza, let me know because Pizza Town puts up some heavy competition. If I'm really hungry I'll get a small Double Cheeseburger Pizza with Fries. It's so good. “Ok, this is "out of the way", a palace that can be easily be ignored. But here is the thing, this Kitchen is right out of a tourist guide for a Mom & Pops family take out. First and foremost the food I had was prepared fresh. Combo 3 is what I chose, check the menu, although the spring roll was a little tough but the rest was excellent. It was fresh, it tasted great and now that I have tried it after 10 years just passing the shop, I am going back. Although the Owners are shy, they make excellent food. I recommend it for anyone who wants to find some good take out.”
