firehouse subs

Great subs. Forget about subway. The subs can get soggy if left too long before eating. However if you throw it in oven later problem solved. The jerk turkey Carribean is not spicy.

Although I've only tried two of the many subs on the menu (more than once), they were both very, very good. Friendly staff as well, in my experience. You can choose to round up to the nearest dollar on purchase which goes to local firefighters, although I wasn't asked the last two times, and I would have happily done it.

I got the steak n cheese, tastiest sub I've ever had, more than worth the extra dollar or so. Also very friendly staff, nice place, even a great opportunity to donate to local fire fighters by rounding up the total a few cents. I'm also very impressed that their packaging is paper so it can be recycled or composted. I'll definitely be back.

I really liked this place, except that the bread reminds me of Subway... something is just "off" about it. High gluten, maybe. But it's a good sized portion and wide selection on the menu.
