“Popped in hear on our way home from a hike at the Forks of the Credit provincial park. Nice classic English pub with lot's of TV's for watching a sporting event. Food was delicious. I had the curry which was very spicy and the waitress warned us about that. I ordered the coconut shrimp for an appetizer not expecting much from an English pub but there were perfectly cooked with good coconut flavour and the dipping sauce was nice and spicy. Service was excellent with very friendly and professional staff.”

“THE BUDDHA IS BACK! I've been eating here since I was a kid (30 years or more). The place was always the best Chinese food. The original family sold and the place did drop off for a bit. I think the new owners have it figured out now though because me and 4 friend ate here on Thursday and the food was OUTSTANDING. The place is totally renovated and clean. The staff were so friendly. Most importantly the food was really really good.”

“I went to Corked on a Thursday night. They have live music on Thursdays after 7pm and on weekends after 9pm. The music was soothing and mellow...it really added to the quaint and rustic charm! For drinks, we had the Strawberry Fields and the Gibby Smoked Old Fashioned. I kept stealing sips of the Gibby Smoked Old Fashioned...it was the perfect combination of aroma, sweet, and a little bit of heat/spice. To make it, the waitress had the glass over burning/smoking cedars then added the brown sugar maple syrup and bourbon over the ice ball. I would order that drink again and again! We also had the tacos and the loaded mashed potato bombs--both had perfect flavor and texture! The waitresses were courteous and prompt; very friendly. There are tons of seating options as well!”

“Just had the the best meal we've had in a long time . We decided to go to The Bridgewood for my birthday and we are so happy we did. We were warmly greeted by our servicer with a wonderful bread basket and olive oil vinaigrette. I had the lasagna that was wonderfully delicious with the most amazing sauce. Nice and hot too, which is not always the case with a lot of restaurants. It came with a very good salad and garlic bread. Hubby had the seafood pasta which he said was better than anything he's had on the east coast. Portions were very generous and we ended up bringing half of the meals home. We did want to save room for the Sticky Toffee cake and it was as wonderful as we'd read in a review. We plan to go back again very soon as we'd love to try other selections on the menu. Highly recommend reservations as it is a very cute and intimate restaurant. We'd give it more stars if we could. Worth every penny and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the meals. Bravo”

“After a few times where we had been disappointed with our meals due to overcooked and over salted food, we gave HH another go this past weekend. Well to our pleasant surprise, it was probably the best we've had for several years: Fries were perfectly done, pork was melt in your mouth good, and (IMO the most consistent item on the menu) the Onion Rings were fantastic. “Royal Special I tried it and it rocked! They put all ingredients blended under cheese which is unique and comes out fantastic. There lasagna is amazing also! I found out that Royal Pizza was first to open up in town back in 70's and use to be located next to Quick Pick Guelph Street. They know what they are doing and use best ingredient's.”
