“I like to think I've had some fantastic meals in my day, and definitely good Italian food, but nothing comes close to the meal at Valley last night! Not only was the food out of this world, the service (Morgan) was impeccable! And even though it was extremely busy, we felt incredibly looked after. When there was a slight mix up with the order, the chef himself came out with a freshly prepared dish (even though we had said they didn't need to remake it, they insisted) and then they gave us a coupon for our next visit! They went above and beyond what I have EVER experienced dining out (which I do probably 2-3 times a week). It was my first visit to Valley and definitely will not be my last!”

“Went here for dinner with a group of work friends. Overall the restaurant is very nice, despite being quite small. They accommodated our group graciously (we requested to change tables) and were so nice throughout our visit. I ordered the lemon chicken, and it was OK, but not what I was expecting. I don't really enjoy spicy food, so overall this place was not the best choice for me. If you do like spicy food, this is a great place to go!”

“The great ocean restaurant is lovely. Their sushi is great and has different combinations of ingredients to make a roll. The Philadelphia roll has cream cheese in it. I’ve never had a roll that has had cream cheese and tasted so good. When its a humid and hot day, I would not recommend this place. Last time I checked they didn’t have an AC. Maybe it has changed I don’t know. But this place has lovely food. I would recommend this place.”

“My favourite breakfast place (probably anywhere!). The '29' in the name refers to the number of retro chairs the owner was able to wrestle up over many excursions throughout Ontario over a number of years (they look like the chairs from the 60s or 70s). So the place is small ( no restroom!). But the food....mmmm. I've attached a pic of a recent breakfast featuring pork belly, beautifully poached eggs all on their amazing homemade bread with a side of delicious mini potatoes! So good!”
