Tried this place for lunch. Had good selection of noodles with customizable noodle type options which was good. They also have other items on menu that were not noodles. Portion size was quite large so it was good value for the price. One star loss cos of the loud banging that kinda ruins the atmosphere a bit. My mom was jumping out of her seat each time they banged that dough. It authentic, but they may want to consider sound proofing or have insulation under that board so it isn't as loud.

7 of us ordered a variety of dishes. Everything is on the savoury side. Texture of the noodles are alright, so was the signature soup. The meat was a bit bland and quantity is on the low side. For $10 I expected more fixings than just few thinly sliced beef and 2 slices of radish. The star of the show was the pig intestine side dish.

On a side note, while I didn't expect chit chat from a Chinese fast food joint, the waiters in 1915 would not speak to any customers unless absolutely necessary, to the point of awkwardness. I noticed this halfway thru the meal and observed exactly zero spoken words, restaurant was 80% full. Honestly I'd believe you if you tell me they are all mutes. They did fulfill our needs so I guess it's alright?

Great noodles and tasty sides. I wish there was a spicy broth option, but the chili oil does tend to do the trick. Service here is astoundingly better than at the downtown location. Will definitely be back again.
