Amy's Fish & Chips

This is my weekly go-to for fish and chips restaurant. I have tried many fish and chips restaurants across the GTA, but this one is definitely the place with a good portion of food. Also check out the sweet potato fries and onion rings. The place is clean, has simple decor but the food is simply fantastic and the prices are very reasonable.

Fish is good, but portions are way too small for the price you pay. My wife and I got a 2 piece family meal a couple months ago that were decent sized, second stop in we got the 4 piece and noticed the portions were half the size from the first visit.. as if they were cut in half. For $40 I expect much more in return. Likely won't be back.

Don't let the initial appearance through you off. Restaurant was clean but decor is limited. Food is delicious! Great portions and prices. Service was great. Will definitely come back! Thank you. :)

Ordered the 2 person meal. It consists of 4 pieces of halibut and 1 order of chips (as seen in photo). Price was 24.95. We felt quite satisfied with the portions as we were both satisfied. Great little spot! Will definitely be returning.

Good and quick. Felt it is good value but fish batter could be a little more crisper and lighter. The fries could have been crispier and felt a little greasy. Perhaps I am biased by the quality we had in the UK last month but I also had higher expeditions from the reviews. And, you should be more generous with the French fries you give.
