Osmow's Shawarma

First time visit on a Thursday night. Wow... so busy the door just kept opening and closing with customers. 95% all take out though the restaurant only has a lot of tables for sit in.

When reaching the counter to order we were informed that beef kofta was available and that order will take at least a 10 minute wait. Chicken is obviously very popular as I did not see anyone leave without a food order.

Food is good and we will be back for sure. I usually stay away from Shawarma since I find it bland but due to the fact that Osmow's uses garlic sauce on top makes it tasty fare.

Stopped in with my family last evening for a late night meal. We don't really eat a lot of Mediterranean food, so I don't honestly have much to compare this to... but I will say that we had was extremely filling and delicious. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating - taking time to answer all our question and help us make the perfect choices for our meal. Between the 4 of us, we had chicken, lamb, and beef dishes all varying in degrees of "heat". We all enjoyed them very much, although our youngest who is quite sensitive to spices found that his "mild" meal was still "too hot" for him. Also I would rate the portion sizes here as "quite generous". You will not leave hungry. I would definitely recommend this place for folks who enjoy Mediterranean food and note that they do have a pretty extensive menu which you can also check out on their web site. Enjoy!

My favorite Osmows location. Used to go weekly when I worked in the area. Staff is friendly and my food was almost always ready fast. They're generous with portions. It's small inside so if there's a line it can get a little crowded. Otherwise great location!

Amazing Middle Eastern food, with incredible service. The combination of flavors occurs in a very specific way at this restaurant, with the flavour of the pita combining perfectly with the hummus and sauces. As soon as you enter Osmow's Elgin Mills, you will smell all of the fresh scents of rotisserie chicken, beef, and toppings, which will just make you desperate for what they have to offer. *For being a regular customer, the staff gave me a free Beef on the rocks, as a gesture of appreciation! As an Egyptian, I can honestly say that this is an amazing place to have a meal!!

First timers to the Elgin Mills location. We ordered dishes recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The food was hot and fresh. The french fries are made to order. The servings are plentiful. The sauce they put over the rice is very tasty.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
We will definitely be returning.
