“Smelled like real beef! I'm sure they use real beef. The only time I treat myself to A&W or fast food in general is when I'm on road trips. This one in OnRoute pit stop is dependable with a quick-moving line. I ordered the Mama burger combo. The burger is not too big nor too small. The fries were hot and crispy. 5 stars for what it is as a fast food spot.”

My husband & I had the teriyaki beef and popcorn chicken on our first visit and were very impressed on the food presentation, portion, and how delicious both our meals tasted. “The place was busy for a Wednesday night. The service was fast, polite, cheerful and not pushy. The special was the 1/2 price burgers, had the all Canadian with fries and side of gravy. The fries were really hot and crispy. Surprising that fries becomes a gauge of the food overall. The burger being half price was amazing. Not sure the size would have justified the full price. The taste and quality was really good. Food time from order to table was not super fast but given how busy probably reasonable.”

“When I first walked inside I was not greeted. After leaving, and coming inside again, I was greeted ( maybe they didn’t hear me come in ). I was not liking the price but I had to order and see first. After ordering 2 slices of Pizza, I went home and try it. It was good pizza and I was surprised! The Pizza is not generic, because the sauce they make tastes unique. The spices come together, and it all tastes so good. It’s not to greasy, the bread tastes great and the pizza slices are pretty big. I suggest trying it out, you know they take pride in making pizza! 4 stars due to the first interaction ( no greeting the first time walking in ).”

“Small casual but very friendly place with amazing variety of menu. At first we wondered how anyone could do a good job without specialising. Gave it a try for takeout on Friday and were pleasantly surprised! Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had Satay Chicken skewers, Bunny Chow (South African curry) with Chicken and Young Chow Fried rice with Shrimp. All tasted delicious and very fresh. Can't wait to explore the rest of the menu!”

“Fancy food, made and served by students. Normally need a reservation, check hours (closed during exam periods and at the beginning of the semester). Can be booked for events but not off-campus. The food is always amazing and very good value - currently $10 for appetizer, main, and dessert. First picture is my appetizer, or what remained once I remembered to take a photo (halibut cakes). Main was chicken scaloppini, and dessert was chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious!”

There was no signs directing where to order, we only went to the till to order because we had been standing at the other end and no one acknowledged us and this other lady was placing her order at the till.
