“We have enjoyed breakfast at the Dunlop Street Diner several times. It is by far our favourite. The service has been consistently friendly and efficient. I tend to order the vegetarian omelette, but with cheddar not goat cheese. Their home fries are the best. The diner is open for breakfast and lunch only. We have eaten lunch here and enjoyed it. From our experience lunch time is busy and it can get quite loud.”

“Enjoyed a terrific three course lunch today December 11, 2019 at Ill Buco. It was a nice atmosphere that allowed for quiet conversation. The Cream off Broccoli soup was out of this world followed by a delicious lasagna which was a perfect portion size. As good as the good was the service was 1st class. Glasses were never empty and we did not have to ask for anything. Finally it was a pleasant surprise getting the check; very good value for the food we were served. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

“My staff arranged a retirement party here for me. What a great time! We had the back room reserved; the pub food was timely, tasty, and hot, and the beer was excellent! There was so much lively conversation we could barely hear the tunes. The servers were accommdating and kept genuine smiles on all the time. Highly recommended!”

“Didn’t know what to expect when I headed up to Barrie for the weekend. Found this place when I looked up what the best burger bar in the area was, and this place lives up to the its name. The burgers taste fresh, they don’t fall apart all over the place, the presentation of food is great, there’s lots of options with a wide range of different ingredients, all without having an overwhelming menu like many Toronto places have. Also, place turns into a decent bar at night. Will definitely be coming back”

The Crepes are always cooked to perfection (my favourite is the Turkey and Cheese) and so healthy I leave feeling just right - not too stuffed but very satisfied. “My daughter invited me to Bohemia for a birthday lunch. I'd heard of the restaurant but had never been before. The decor is adorable and there's a cute little upstairs by a big window looking over the bay. The lunch menu had something for everyone and prices were reasonable. Good selection of drinks, including wine and beer. I had the ham and cheese panini with sweet potato fries as the side. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had and the panini was delicious. My daughter had a beet salad with chicken and said it was also delicious.”

Great service-very friendly, food presentation matched how delicious the meal was, non-standard and the menu had unique and interesting items but not to the point of being too crazy or intimidating. I liked the mirrors that allowed the food being plated to be seen. The bathroom was clean and offered individual cotton hand towels instead of paper or an air dryer”

“I love this place! Truth be told, it does need some updating as it's located in one of the older building in downtown Barrie. But the food is delicious and we always enjoy our evening when we visit. This is the prefect place to enjoy a quiet evening, have dinner and a nice bottle of wine. Staff are polite and service is timely. Portions are generous and the homemade bread to start the meal is my favourite part. I have eaten here a number of times over the years, and I have never been disappointed.”

“Really great food. The flavour and preparation were excellent especially the kalbi beef ribs and avocado fries. M16 roll was creative and delicious. Salmon was of very high quality and was cut expertly. Finished with an incredible 'green tea tempura' - a sweet tempura covered scoop of green tea ice cream. Wow! Definitely will go again.”
