“Very quaint spot for high tea. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. British products also sold at front of store. Price for high tea was very expensive compared to places I've visited in Toronto and Markham. I would still recommend for special occasions, as food was great. If they could lower their price to be competitive, more people would be able to enjoy high tea more often.”

“Amazing food amazing service amazingly fast! The new owner has definitely stepped his game up adding tacos to the menu which were some of the best tacos I've had in a long time. As a chef myself I enjoy trying new places and new foods and this was just as good if not better then any food truck around here. Also the owner took the time to ask me how I enjoyed my food and took time to come out and talk to my wife and I made for a great atmosphere thanks guys.”

“The Boathouse has always been a favourite. The setting, the food, the atmosphere is by far what I have come to love about visiting this restaurant. The staff are always friendly and the service is great. I am not one that likes to be creative with my food choices, but anything I have eaten here has been delicious! Enjoyed a birthday dinner here one night as well with a bunch of ladies, great spot for a large gathering and the music was enjoyable. Highly recommend you visit and make this a stop when your in the area.”

“Five stars all around, to the service, the ambience, the wine selection and the food. A must try is the Korean Fried Cauliflower. Deliciously crunchy yet perfectly moist with just the right amount of savoury. The mains prove to be a healthy serving size of culinary delights. The Roaster, gnocchi, fish and braised beef each got the thumbs up. Closing out the meal is cheesecake to die for that even the Golden Girls themselves would relocate from Miami. And made on the premises too. Will definitely be going back when I visit Midland again.”

“Moving from the London (England), where you can get any style of food you want and all great quality, to midland. One of my big concerns was what the section of food would be here and how good it would be. Dillon’s instantly put my mind at ease. Their food is incredible and its far more than just pizza. The ribs are excellent as is the curry and the drinks complement the food very well. The service is second to none, every experience I have had there has been fantastic, the team that has been built there is incredible. There is a reason its fully booked most weekends! Try it, you wont be disappointed.”

“The salad was really large and had a little bit more color than your usual house salad, which is something I appreciate. The price was very reasonable. Crunchy, well prepared sweet potato fries. Large sandwich portions, we usually are happy with our meals here and in the evening there's often live music. Not four stars because the waitress was quite inflexible with the substitutions in spite of offering to pay extra, which resulted in a lot of uneaten food, which I always prefer to avoid, although I took the container home. Fries, for instance don't travel well!!!”

The food was fine, but we were a bit put off by the fact that the staff came out and started to put up chairs and close down the dining area while we were eating. It was 7pm, and the restaurant is supposed to be open until 9. It made us feel that we should leave, and I'm sure that anyone coming in to buy food after us would feel unwelcome.”
