Anchor Bar

The Anchor Bar is a special kind of place if you are into a low key affair or looking for something when you are looking for something closer to home. Located right in the heart of Etobicoke, the Anchor Bar is perfectly located right by the Airport . The Anchor Bar has a full list of everything that a bar usually has, ranging from onions rings , to a bucket of fries, to chicken wings and much much more. There's a wide selection of Burgers to choose which was my absolute favorite. They have a wide variety of options to choose from including Steaks, beef and rotisserie chicken. One of my favourite appetizers to have was the chicken wings in which you can mix sauces together or just have a single sauce instead . The Anchor Bar staff are very polite and coordinate well when you have had too much to drink. Speaking of drinking , the Anchor Bar has a wide variety of beers to choose from , wines and liquors. The Anchor would be best for a night out of town to relax, I wouldn't celebrate a birthday here . It's more like a sports bar , where you can catch the next playoff game or a general exhibition game .

Good place for beer and wings. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Can accomodate larger groups. Recommended.

Everything I have tried on the menu here is delicious, especially the white pizza. The brick oven pizzas are worth coming for alone, even though it's a wing joint. Our sever last night was very friendly and attentive. The wings are good and the sauces are tasty. I also enjoyed the chicken tender melt, although it could use a little bit more in the way of liquid sauce (but the Buffalo dip is tasty).

Food was good with huge servings! Service was okay as the server seemed a little quiet but polite at the start but came around toward the end. Food did come out hot and fast. Overall I'd recommend it!
