First time at this place. Right of the door a young lady approached us with a smile, "welcome to ESM, would you like a table for...". Good first impression. Table was clean. We were welcome to pick a table with a good view of the TVs. Food was very good. She checked on us frequently, again very politelly and with a smile, answering all questions we had. Sangria was very interesting. They have it with and without alcohol. Stone Sangria comes with very interesting "Bobba" balls full of fruit juice...very interesting. Overall, I would recommend this place. Thanks
Visited Toronto for a business trip and stop by here for dinner. The server welcomed happily and provided a seat without any waiting. Order chicken parmesan with salad as it’s one of my favorites and it was good . Finished my food in some time and was ready for my ticket, but the server took a while to get it. So it was little boring when you are alone for dinner. Overall the experience was okay and will think twice to go back in future.
Went there in a Wednesday afternoon (it was about 345) and it was pretty empty. The server was fantastic but she was the only server there. As the meal went on, the restaurant filled completely and our server was still basically doing all if the tables on her own. She was amazing and we loved her, we just hated the fact that we waited ages for our bill and our to go boxes.
Also the food was delicious.
3 STARS ???? ???? ???? GREAT BUT...

Nicely renovated location ~ everything looks modern and up to date. I would like to congratulate East Side Mario's for this long overdue renovation.
Food was super great and tasty. I had tried the Scallops, the Lasagna and also Seafood Linguine. No complaints about the food other than the Scallops was a bit salty.
My major complaint was nothing to do with the food or the staff, I was quite satisfied with the experience regarding this. However, the Washroom was my biggest concern. Very dirty with used paper over the floors, flies flying around (review photos for details). Newly renovated or not, establishments tend to forget the areas we don't see until we go there. I was disgusted to see the state of the facilities and so that is why the low rating.
