Caribbean Queen

3.5 stars. I’ve been visiting this place once every week for about two months now. The food is good. I especially like the mushroom because other places don’t have it. The biggest issue I have is that they “hold back” just a little when scooping food, whereas places like, say, Bourbon St next door, do not. I got the most food when a guy was serving. They still give you a lot of food and most people won’t finish it. It’s a fair choice among other options in the food court.

I went here yesterday.
I was looking as the menu board. I was in mood for biryani so almost decided to move on.

The lady at the counter said, have you tried our food earlier, if not pls try our chicken and must admit it was delicious.

She gave my order.

1 veg
1/2 rice 1/2 noodle

The taste was very good. Not at all oily or over filled with sauce. Clean plating style and nice food. Will recommend.

I use to love going here, until they got rid of their spicy curry rice, the meats and veggies are good, but a little disappointed they got rid of my favorite. This is the Scarborough location, I'd imagine all locations are different. The staff is amazing though.

I ordered 2 meat combo with spicy fried fish and Spicy chicken.
I really liked the fish, soft and flaky inside and seemed fresh. The chicken was also good, typical chinese style battered chicken but made with some Caribbean flare.

The portion I received were LARGE.

I only went here once, but I would come back based on my experience :)
