Kwan Dim Sum Express

Dear Owner of Kwan Dim Sum Express at STC,
My wife and I were at your Express this Saturday 16 November, as a long time customer of yours I must say that I was disappointed for the following two incidents: 1) when we arrived at around 8 pm we noticed that there were quite a number of empty tables but no one greeted us, after standing at the entrance for a while, I had to walk in to find a server and asked to be seated 2) we ordered Duck Combo for 2. Around 8:42 pm we were given the check and I paid right away but I told Paula who gave me the check that we weren’t given our mango puddings yet. After we finished eating, the puddings still didn’t come so I waved at a server who was standing two tables away from us. She (I don’t know her name but I can tell she’s not Paula because I know Paula, and I always call Paula by her name). She took a look at me, seemingly busy, but with no intention to come over to ask me what I wanted. As the background music was loud and she was standing quite far away from me, I had to tell her what I wanted in a louder voice. She didn’t say anything, no acknowledgement, nothing. I was quite embarrassed when customers at the other tables turned and looked at me, thinking that I was yelling at her but like I said I had to raise my voice a bit to be heard because the background music was loud and she didn’t bother to come closer. Before we left I had a chance to chat with Paula and I told her about my disappointments. Paula is always courteous to her customers and enthusiastic with her work, I just wish all your employees are like her so we can enjoy our meals without unnecessary frustrations. As an educated person, I respect all people and I expect to be respected.

First time here! Food is fantastic, also Spoke to the Manager Paula she’s really helpful in choosing good food for 2. We’re definitely coming back!!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere and price! The food option here seems endless and their set menus...i highly recommend them. Food comes out relatively quick and piping hot. Nothing is greasy and tastes great for that standard dim sum. This is not a place to look for unique cute or extremely unique dim sum items. I would define this as all standard dim sum you would want and then some.

Food ...ambiance... service... cleanliness... location... all amazing
Audrey was friendly... gave us options when to come out for variety of dim sum

I come here at least once a month. I really enjoy the food the service is efficient and amazing. The staff here is very nice and kind. We were here for dinner and wanted to eat the chicken potstickers. Though it was not available in the dinner menu the staff made an exception and provided us with the dish. I highly recommend this place.
