I work in the area and decided to have dinner here as my first visit to this obscure eatery hidden on the ground floor of a condominium tower facing the Scarborough Civic Centre. Chill Station has been open about a year but it seems I kept delaying dropping in until today. Maybe it was the para-sail sign flapping in the wind!

The food menu is limited but varied from rice, dim sum, dumplings, to ramen.

Drinks range from various flavours of ice tea, slushy, ice milk tea, to soda pop or yogurt.

My meal was a Casserole Rice $10.00 with Cured Meat with a beverage of Taro Ice Milk Tea & Tapioca $4.99, plus two $2 buns to-go (BBQ Pork, Pineapple). The total bill was $19.00.

Well, the pleasant soft-spoken young man named Greg that served and prepared my meal was the owner.

I'm impressed as the rice was perfectly cooked as was the meat. Thumbs up for the Milk Tea too.

Greg told me to take a menu with me so that I could call in my order to cut down the wait time. Bonus...I will return to sample other menu items!

The drinks are good however the food...? Best to stay away. I ordered their New Orleans chicken burger...it tasted like day old chicken breast that was microwaved and slathered in tasteless hot sauce. The sandwich was super disappointing, I only managed to eat two bites but at least the Green Apple ice tea with Aloe gel was good.

Wonderful place with very affordable prices and the nicest owner. Food was made fresh but quickly, and the atmosphere was relaxing but fun, blending the modern aesthetic with the extremely friendly service.

The portion size for the delicious egg bubble waffle was larger than expected for $3 - and surprisingly filling - and Chill Station definitely ranks as one of the cheapest among the many bubble tea options in the immediate area. Despite mainly advertising drinks and snacks, the menu also offers plenty of main course options. We look forward to returning often in the near future - its location is a tad bit hidden away, being outside the mall, and we only wish we had found it sooner!
