City Betty

A beautiful, lively chic restaurant on the Danforth with friendly staff. The reason City Betty isn’t getting a 4 or 5 star review is that after being sat at our table we waited 45 minutes before our first drink was put in front of us. Not cool. However, all was forgiven once the food arrived. The trio of vegetables were outstanding. There was a shaved Brussel sprout salad that was crazy good. My burger/frites was perfect.

Beautiful place, great and timely service. Lot of interesting menu options. Decided on Benny and the Jets with bacon. Thought it was super tasty, all the flavours mixed very well with each other. We walked in and didn’t wait at all (May have helped that it was 1:30 and a super rainy day). They take resos which is bonus for a brunch place. Would definitely recommend.

Atmosphere is excellent. Cocktails are designed by astrological signs so I had the water one. Ginger beer something. Delicious. Special app was oysters - yummy -. Eye of tiger lily was my main. Alittle too spicy for my tastes but still delicious. GF had the steak and other friend had the burger. Everyone enjoyed. The staff are great. Will be coming back.

The food is consistently well prepared and delightful, cashiers provides excellent service. I loved the cleanliness and character. Will come back again.
