Lovely decor, friendly staff - including the chef /owners mingling with their guests - and very very tasty food artistically plated and presented. Lots of gluten free options as well as vegetarian choices. The meat menu is extensive. Although I do not eat meat, I was more than full when I left... The final touch was a fabulous cup of Turkish cofy❤️. Highly recommended.

This is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to in Canada! The starters and the meat was so delicious, I would not imagine anyone not loving it. And the service, you will feel like you are special. I will definitely come again for the other things I was not able to eat :)

Now, where do i begin ?
This place is legendary.The style is awesome and it has everything a fine dining restaurant stands for and more. Probably the most professional team I had the pleasure to see at work. And the food is world class...

I'm a huge foodie and eat at tons of restaurants all over the world and Flame Food + Design is my new favourite restaurant in Toronto. Discovered it last week and I've already been twice. I NEVER do that. The cuts of meat are insanely good. Also, ask for a tour of upstairs...it's pretty cool.

Just a fair warning: if you haven't travelled a lot, you might think the service is slow. They're straight from Turkey and it's definitely Turkish Culture service.

What do I mean by that?

In North America, we rush to get through our meal so that we can go out after dinner. Outside of North America (and in Turkey), the meal is your experience for the night. It's your entertainment. This means they won't rush you here. They allow you to take your time and enjoy everything. If you need something, they expect you to call them over and they will assist you. So knowing this, the service was awesome, and super warm. Me and my friend stayed 40 minutes past closing just enjoying our time there and they were happy to keep serving us, and then they even gave us a tour of the upstairs afterwards. I highly recommend!

Bold and fresh ingredients mixing flavours with an elegant twist. I felt like this was the closest I’ve ever been to Turkey after tasting blends of authentic and simple Turkish flavours I’ve never experienced together. The kind of food that makes you think about the individual ingredients and leaves you feeling really good. Be sure to check out their original Turkish kitchenware line upstairs. Top notch service and overall dining experience. Would definitely return.
