Amazing food. Sadly the owner died and is now being run by his lovely beautiful daughter. One of the busiest restaurants in the Yorkville area and the food is always amazing as is the service. Make a reservation. Famous for their squid ink risotto. Interesting art work all done by the deceased owner.

The energy in Joso’s has always been nothing but lively! Personally, this is a restaurant I prefer eating in later in the evening. Something about the evening aura wins. Also, the set-up and decor is very original which is an experience on its own. In regards to the food, I’ve yet to taste a meal I wasn’t overly satisfied with. I always order the breaded calamari and every single time it tastes just as good as the last. Service has been friendly and reasonable minus one specific visit. She seemed disinterested in either our table or her job until she received her large unjustified tip at the end of the dinner. But once again, that seemed to have been a rarity. I recommend here !

The food is incredibly fresh, they brought the fish out prior to cooking and let you pick which one you wanted based on an expertly delivered description. The service was exceptional, you are want for nothing and the glasses stayed pleasantly full. I would recommend this for birthdays or anniversaries (I'm fairly sure everyone there had a birthday as we sang multiple times).

Old Toronto stand by. The decor, cannot be described! Not as shocking as it once was but still interesting. Great seafood! The prices, leave something to be desired. An expense account would be nice if you are planning to eat here.

If you're not familiar with the history of the restaurant, the atmosphere is quite enigmatic and eclectic, with walls adorned with naked women and kitschy ornaments. There doesn't seem to be a method to the madness and the longer you look around the more it seems cacophonous and rather random. Like the walls of a hoarder with a very peculiar taste in erotic art.

My experience was positive but it didn't live up to the hype both in terms of food quality and service. Our waitress seemed quite disinterested, and whilst the food was very good, I did feel as though the price did not match the taste. It's an experience to eat there, and largely positive, but I would say the experience is largely based on the atmosphere and eye catching art than the food alone.
