La Carnita

Went there on a Thursday evening recently. Good vibe on way in due to lighting and music. Had a couple good beers at the bar first that bartender suggested and my friends had margaritas poured out of a spout in the wall (so cool). All the food we had at the table was great and I highly recommend the beef appetizer and the in cod we trust taco. Their Sweet Jesus ice cream window at the front of the house was closed that evening but their churros were a great dessert! Very satisfying experience!

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at La Carnita on Queen. The food was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the avocado fries and the spicy mushroom taco. Brendon our server was great and Jeremy the bartender made me a yummy mocktail. An all around great night.
Definitely will be back!

Really good tacos and 3 dip nachos. My faves are the sweet potato and spice mushroom tacos. Not the best lighting, although I’m not a pub person. Awesome service!

This was my second time at La Carnita in the last year. As an out of town guest in Toronto I will always make a point of eating here. The staff were quick to sit and serve us. The menu is jam packed with amazing Mexican flavour. There is something for everyone on the menu. Rob, the owner, made us feel welcomed and comfortable during our meal. Our glasses were always full and the food was quick to our table. The margaritas are top notch. Thank you to the servers, kitchen staff, and owner for providing a great meal experience once again!

Really cool vibe in a nice area of Toronto. I live in Texas, so I have a good sense for good Mexican food, particularly tacos. This is the real deal! Great flavors, good selection, and so so well seasoned. Would definitely go back! Also had a really nice cocktail.
